The Ideals in Our School

College de la Salle Amman aims to empower its students to become principled, life-long learners who are able to embrace their diversity, and at the same time be proud of their own identity and reach their full potential. La Salle Amman, therefore, prepares its students to be knowledgeable, open-minded people who are able to cope with and understand other cultures. This way, our learners help the global community and Jordan preserve their Arab culture and heritage. We, in la Salle, provide a common platform in which teachers and students can participate in joint activities that inspire leadership.

What It Means to Be a Round-Square School

We, as global members in Round Square, believe that applying Round Square in our school will inspire and draw out every child’s capacity for self-discovery, personal development, achievement and excellence. As our students participate in conferences, projects, activities and exchanges, Round Square offers them new opportunities to enrich their experiences with an approach that is practical, cross-cultural and collaborative.

The system provides a broad and balanced study across a wide range of subjects, using learner-centred and inquiry-based approaches to learning.

Cambridge Primary 

• Learners aged 5 to 11 years old. 
• We prepare our students to:
  - external assessments

Cambridge Lower Secondary

• Learners aged 11 to 14 years old. 
• We prepare our students to:
  - external assessments

Cambridge Upper Secondary

• Learners aged 14 to 16 years old
• It offers students two routes:
  - Cambridge O- level
  - Cambridge IGCSE

Cambridge Advanced

• Learners aged 16 to 19 years who need advanced study to prepare students for university and higher education.
• It offers learners two routes:
  - Cambridge International AS & A Level
  - Cambridge Pre-U.

Edexcel

Edexcel is an academic qualification from Pearson. It is designed to enhance learner’s knowledge, skills as well as help them advance to higher education. This programme is created with the UK education system and traditions in mind yet relevant to the international student.

Managebac is a platform for the modern IB schools. It provides several online services that facilitate teaching and learning for students, educators as well as parents.

Edunation is a Learning Management System that facilitates communication between the school and the home. With several services, such as homework assigning, gradebook and certificate building, lesson planning,  and many more, teachers and parents can easily and confidently care for the students.

This online reading platform is a great way to ensure that our children have access to multiple e-books in both Arabic and English. This website helps students, parents and teachers track the students' reading levels as well as the  number of books they have read. It also allows teachers to assign homework and students to hear the book in an audio format. Kutubee is a great method that takes reading into the 21st century.
